Abstract: The author presents a sketch of the regulation on the collection, storage and transportation of organs and tissues, which in 1979 entered into force in Turkey. The author also presents her de lege ferenda draft proposals to the above-mentioned Act. The law on the collection, storage and transfer of organs and tissues largely corresponds to the Requirements of the Biomedicine Association. However, there is a need for reform within the framework of the Turkish law, which should serve to protect human dignity and self-determination.Keywords: turkish regulation, transplantation law, the procurement of organs
