Abstract: This article presents information on the knowledge and awareness of Poles about organ trafficking. The presented data come from a survey by CBOS. Referring to the study, author pointed out that the carried out studies may start with the observation that the approval of the transplantation within the Polish population is at a high level and is represented by all social and demographic groups. It is worth to noted with satisfaction that the acceptance of post mortal organ donation has clearly increased during the last 20 years.Keywords: transplantation law, public opinion research, transplantation of ex vivo and ex muerto, the procurement of organs
