Abstract: Role of transplantation of organs and tissues is extremely important because it saves lives and restores human health. In the light of the Turkish law – collection and transplantation of cells, tissues and organs is possible from living donors, as well as the deceased person. The article presents the contents of selected regulations of the Turkish Act with particular emphasis on the provisions relating to children. The author discusses the issue of whether doctor duties, who performs the transplant, as well as the limitations that accompany transplantation of organs and tissues from a deceased donor.Keywords: transplantation law, medical law, consent of the donor and recipient
