Abstract: The article raises the issue of European regulations regarding standards of quality and safety of human organs intended for transplantation. In the article precisely were discussed the different regulations of the Council of Europe and the European Union. Presented European regulations and directives devoted to transplantation of human organs are very precise and multi-faceted. The author also shows how common rules and cooperation in this field is very important for the whole European community.Keywords: european standards, protection of health, prevention of organs trafficking, transplantation law
